Photographs and Photo Albums
Just imagine what could happen to your precious
family memories if your home suffered from fire or water damage.
All your digital collections will fit onto one USB Flash Drive. By giving copies to your family they will never be lost.
Any type of photograph can be digitized.
- Loose photographs
- Photos in Albums or Frames - no need to remove them
- Digital photographs in any format
- Photos on Memory cards or CD/DVDs
We typically scan at 300 dpi but you can upgrade to 600 dpi if you are looking to enlarge a photo or view it full size on a larger screen. Your scanned photographs will be provided on a USB Flash Drive making them accessible on a PC or TV.
Our Standard Enhancement service is used to improve the quality of the scans.
- colour correction
- removal of spots and blemishes enhancement
- brightness & contrast enhancement
- shadow & highlights enhancement
Further enhancement is also available.
You also have the option of us turning your favourite photos into what we call a Photomontage. Be assured this is MUCH better than a standard slideshow.
Slides and Transparencies
We can scan your mounted or unmounted 35mm slides or strips of negative or positive transparencies.
- With our enhanced service, slides are scanned at 4000dpi which captures sufficient detail to make a full page A4 print or if you need to crop or manipulate the image.
- We can also digitise most other sizes and types of slides or transparencies.
For each slide there are 4 versions enhancement available. Theses examples show:
- The original scan after trimming and artefact removal.
- The second version shows Basic Enhancement which is provided as standard.
- Version 3 shows what can be achieved with a higher level of enhancement.
- The final version shows additional face enhancement.

- Remove marks and blemishes
- Piece back together torn photographs
- Recreate missing sections

- Create a montage of your favourite photographs
- Colour tint black and white photographs
- Enhanced photographs can be printed to any size up to A4
VHS and Camcorder Videos
Somewhere in your house is a drawer full of video tapes - aging home movies shot with a big, bulky camcorder that may not even work anymore.
It is a sad fact, but magnetic tapes do not last forever. They start to degrade after only a couple of years, and after a few more years, you will begin to see a noticeable difference in the video quality.
USB Flash Drives offer many advantages such as:
- No rewinding!
- There is no magnetic coating that can wear away with each use, which is the case with tapes
- Quick forward/backward scanning and searching
- USB Flash Drives take up less space than VHS tapes
- All your mp4 videos will fit in one USB Flash Drive and they can be played directly from the USB input of your Smart TV/PC
- Since USB Flash Drives are digital, any copies are exactly the same as the original with no loss of quality!
- mp4 files can be edited on a computer so that you can trim your videos or capture frames from the video for printing.
- If handled properly a USB Flash Drive can last over 100 years!
We can convert all types of video formats to mp4 files on USB Flash Drive:
- VHS
- VHS-C
- camcorder tapes
- 8mm Video
- Hi8
- Digital 8
- Cine Film
- CD/DVD
Both videos and photographs can be combined in our photomontage to produce something exceptional. Simply tell us the timings of the video sections you require and we will do the rest.
Cine Film
We offer a professional cine film scanning service.
We can scan 8mm and Super 8 cine films
Personalised Photomontage
These photomontages are very popular as gifts for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries but are also ideal for preserving those holiday memories.
Previous customers have been astounded with what can be done with a few old photographs.
- Create a photomontage of your children as they were growing up
- Make those holiday snaps much more interesting
- Give your wedding photos a new lease of life!
- Celebrate a 21st, 40th, 60th birthday in a very special way
- Commemorate the life of a friend or family member who has recently passed away at the funeral service
- Create a presentation to promote your company or business
This is NOT the simple type of slideshow that makes family and friends start yawning and thinking of excuses to go home! It is guaranteed to hold their attention and want to watch it again.
We take your photographs (or videos) and blend them smoothly with seamless transitions, into a movie - scanning across groups of friends or relatives or zooming into faces or places of interest.
Each photo is treated individually by us, giving the photomontage a very personal touch. Choose some music related to the content of the photos or simply have your favourite music playing in the background. You may even wish to record your own background commentary.
Before the Photomontage is finalised you will be provided with a preview copy in order to make any minor alterations required or add captions to the photos.
