Help with the Demo Videos

I can't see the videos

media player 10The most common reason for not being able to see video is because the video player on your computer is not working or is out of date.  Please download the newest version of video player (Windows Media) for your system and then try again.  Another reason for video not displaying is because of "Firewalls".  Some environments (such as office or corporate buildings) have "Firewalls" built into their computer networks.  These "Firewalls" will prevent users from seeing the video.

I still can't see the videos

Every time you open a browser to view a web page, order something online, or read your email in a web based viewer that information is stored on your computer for later use. Windows operating systems store all this material as Temporary Internet Files. Sometimes a build up of these cause various PC problems. In order to clean them out follow the instructions below

I still can't see the videos

javaWhen the panorama and/or photo slideshow box pops up and it doesn't show any pictures and only displays a grey or blank box, it usually means the computer does not have JAVA installed or the JAVA capability is turned off in the browser.  To enable JAVA, please follow the below instructions:

For Netscape Browsers, click on "Edit" at the top of the browser, then select "Preferences". Click on the "Advanced" tab in the pop up window and make sure there is a check mark next to the "Enable Java" and the "Enable Java Script" options. Restart computer. If you still do not see panorama and the photo slideshow, please download the JAVA interpreter and install on your computer.

I can only hear sound, but no video on the screen

When you can hear the sound for a video but cannot see the video (usually a blank screen), it means the CODEC for the video player is outdated.  The CODEC is a program used by the video players to compress and decompress the video over the Internet.  When it is outdated or not installed, it cannot play the video.  Please download the latest video player (Windows Media) for your computer.

Why is the video playing slowly?

Since streaming videos are delivered through the Internet, the connection speed will affect the quality of the video. Therefore, a slower connection will compromise the quality of the video since there is less data being transferred per unit time. In order to enjoy a better quality video presentation, please try to view on a computer with a high speed Internet connection.

Can I save the demos to my hard drive?

Yes, but they will take 2-5 minutes depending on your internet speed. Click on the links below and opt to save the file to your preferred location - ideally your desktop.

In order to view these higher resolution versions of the demos you may need to download a small file (or plug-in). These are sometimes called ActiveX controls. This only has to be done once. For more information on this click here
